The Situation
eTelic Inc., the company I currently work at, was founded in 2008. At the time, UI/UX design wasn't as widespread a field, meaning most of the websites were built using basic HTML and CSS. While this did the job for a while, I knew my first goal when joining eTelic would be to revamp our digital footprint. This all started with the website.

The Process
With my previous job experiences, I had developed a good understanding of webflow and wordpress. I pitched both design platforms to our team, and we decided on Webflow. From here, I sat with our founder and ceo and explored different themes, tones, color ways, and overall "vibes" we may want to use in our new web design. We settled on professional but approachable, since a lot of our clients were in government. I took some time to create a color palette for the company and develop a rudimentary branding guide. Using these, I set out to overhaul the entire website. We decided to employ CMS to organize our projects, as we had a lot of different projects across various industries. eTelic uses its in-house software, Turanto, to create all of our sub-softwares for our clients, so it was important to keep that at the forefront of the website.

The Outcome
The eTelic site revamp was a fruitful endeavor, as site traffic increased by 50% in just the first few months! I added a contact form directly in the website, which allowed potential clients to reach us directly. This new website design also fostered more employee morale, as other members of the team started to pitch other UI redesign projects for various existing softwares.
